Additionally, BCBS Global Solutions’ providers, doctors, and hospitals bill members directly, so members do not have to file medical claims.
Members who choose a BCBS Global Solutions plan with U.S. benefits gain access to the Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO network, the nation’s most prominent provider network. It is the only network with facilities that hold the Blue Distinction honor, which recognizes doctors and hospitals for their expertise and efficiency in delivering specialty care.

BCBS Global Solutions offers its members an online portal that enables them to submit and track claims, obtain ID cards, and stay informed about news and safety precautions relevant to their specific area. All BCBS Global Solutions members applying for a Long Term plan must go through underwriting to determine whether pre-existing conditions will be covered. The Worldwide Specialty plan covers pre-existing conditions immediately with proof of prior health insurance.
The Single Trip Platinum plan level provides 100% coverage for pre-existing conditions with proof of a primary insurance plan in the United States. The Multi-Trip Platinum and Gold plan levels also offer 100% coverage for pre-existing conditions.
